Q&A with Kareen – What to do if you didn’t plant your garlic last fall

If fall got too busy and you didn’t get a chance to plant your garlic, or the snow came too soon in your region, don’t worry, all is not lost. In my video, I talk about what options are available to you.

In our climate, it is best to plant garlic in the fall. It will be one of the first shoots to poke through in the early spring, ensuring that the bulbs develop larger heads by the time you harvest them at the end of July.

It is possible to plant your garlic in the spring, just be sure to get it in the ground as soon as possible so that it has as long a growing season as possible.
