As you look towards the spring gardening season, I wanted to share with you my Top Three Gardening Book Recommendations. In the age of Google, I realize that a lot of gardening information is just a click away. However, nothing beats a good gardening book that you will use year after year.
But when you go to choose a gardening book, the options can be a bit overwhelming. There is certainly something for everyone, from inspirational and philosophical to more practical DIY guides. The books I recommend in this video are more functional in their approach. They are books that I use as reference guides every growing season, ones that I have found most useful for detailed information about plants as well as garden design ideas.
For those of you on a limited budget, you can get a lot of great gardening books at the library, including the ones that I recommend. If you’re considering buying, borrowing them first from the library allows you to make an informed decision and to buy the select few that you find really useful.
